I suppose it depends on whether the current 'story' is true. If it isn't, then it's just another fake news non-story.
If it is, and he has said something he shouldn't divulge to top Russians, then besides him being an eejit, someone very close to him and probably sat in with the meetings; has bubbled him..

Hasn't Trump all but admitted that he's bugged the West Wing. If so, then chances are the tapes of the conversation are out there so it could be any number of people.
Also, I read that there were aides there who, when they realised what Trump had let slip, had to get on to the NSA and CIA immediately to inform their assets and the 3rd country (Israel presumably). Ergo, the number of possible leaks is growing exponentially every minute. |
