Golf isnt exercise. It's a gentle stroll with middle class idiots.

1.5 hours.

A fairly brisk half hour walk 3 times a week, covering 1.75 miles.

So that's 5.25 miles a week or 273 miles a year.
Report geoff m May 10, 2017 2:35 PM BST
12- 15 hours @ this time of year

I'm usually training for some stupid physical challenge. At present I'm probably at about 8 hours a week, which will be rising to nearer 20 in the summer
Report Dotchinite May 10, 2017 2:48 PM BST
Just lift a few glass weights for a few hours 5 evenings a week.
Report kenny mann May 10, 2017 4:51 PM BST
I've been doing that for 40 years.
Report SlippyBlue May 10, 2017 5:05 PM BST
I've had a shoulder injury that just won't heal which limits my exercise and can't play squash until after surgery, the only exercise I currently get is walking Muttley for about 6 or 7 miles a day.
Report Dotchinite May 10, 2017 5:15 PM BST
Walking? What happened to The Mean Machine?
Report Injera May 10, 2017 5:43 PM BST
Blimey Slippy - that mut is blessed to have you! Happy
Report PatraTheCat May 10, 2017 6:01 PM BST
Five a week in the gym. Probably ten hours of walking too.
Report SlippyBlue May 10, 2017 6:21 PM BST
I love walking him Injera, he is a lovely pooch. Always had dogs all my life but he is the best. Our walks invariably end up with me having a cheeky cold one in one of the local pubs, so it's a win win situation. Exercise and a pint, jobsagoodun Happy
Report Kit-Kat-Dan May 10, 2017 6:40 PM BST
Dogs are a fantastic way to make you take more exercise. I have a pedometer in my pocket (not a euphemism btw) and average anything between 8,000 and 12,000 steps per day but if the mutts weren't there I'd be much less inclined to get out in the fresh air.
Report Johnny_Mustang May 10, 2017 6:44 PM BST
Is that a pedometer in your pocket are are you just pleased........
