Yes......for some strange reason people use the local elections for protest votes or just don't bother when in reality these elections are certainly as important if not more as the local council affects your day to day living more !

Yeah just gone and exercised my franchise (as well as my legs).

Feeling very uplifted being part of the democratic process, even though my vote is worth a gnats chuff when it comes to changing anything round my gaff. It's the proverbial 'put a donkey up with a blue rosette and it'll still get elected'.

independants won last time, locals, so now most of the parties have fielded
independants to confuse us. should be fun.
