Hello everybody. I find myself in a bit of a pickle.
I tried to log into Skype a few minutes ago, and was told that:
It looks like someone else might be using your account. To help you - and only you - get back into [account name], we need to verify that it's yours.
I entered my email address and they were supposed to send me a verification code, but it never arrived. I've double-checked the email address and requested the code several times.
The same thing happened with my second Skype account.
Any idea what I can do? This is really annoying as I need Skype for my business.

Exactly the same thing happened to my Hotmail account. Lost 2 emails in one hit..

It's really fecking annoying. I don't get why it isn't sending me the verification code. It's given me the first couple of letters from my email address, so I know I've entered the right one.
Did you ever get your Hotmail working again, G2D? |

I couldn't even get to the verification code as they closed it as it was my back-up to the 1st account that was supposedly hacked!!!
I say to this day it was Microsoft wanting to kill as many accounts as possible.. |

Well, after all that it was (mostly) down to me being a blind muppet. The verification emails had gone to the Promotions section of my email account rather than the Inbox and had been sent from Microsoft rather than Skype as I'd been expecting.
So you can all stop panicking. Why not pour yourself a nice drink, relax and enjoy your evening! |
