I always seem to catch this show on the news channel. Every time I do I regret it.
There is never anything practical on it you can use?

Can't they do a show that gives you good computer tips and software freeware recommendations?

Spencer Kelly seems to be married to VR goggles and obscure devices that cost thousands.
It's just useless from end to end.

When I have seen it I have always found it interesting, but I take your point that there must be a massive untapped market for a computer program.

Absolutely incredible that there isn't one!

There used to be a segment with current apps and games but that seems to have vanished. It's more of a Tomorrow's World for computers technology.

I don't always catch the show and TBF it's getting a bit stale.

I agree with the above though, a show with current tech would be great. What about a show for the Raspberry Pi?

the other thing is they are always telling you that the unemployed are not trained up in computing? BBC2 shows nothing but bbc promos in the morning for two hours. They could show a microsoft office tutorial? like an open university programme of the past. one day word, next excel, next photoshop, etc - it could be recorded and played back by the student.

Exactly right zorro, the TV could be an excellent tool for learning.
Harold Wilson recognised this when he commissioned the Open University.
Unfortunately, that no longer happens as far as I'm aware apart from a few popular science documentaries, they mainly broadcast mindless shoite and propaganda.

good show imo, it is a bit tomorrow's worldy, but I like that and Spencer Kelly is a good host for it.

What about a programme about how to use tablets, phones etc.  Tips, hints.
