There used to be a segment with current apps and games but that seems to have vanished. It's more of a Tomorrow's World for computers technology.
I don't always catch the show and TBF it's getting a bit stale.
I agree with the above though, a show with current tech would be great. What about a show for the Raspberry Pi?

the other thing is they are always telling you that the unemployed are not trained up in computing? BBC2 shows nothing but bbc promos in the morning for two hours. They could show a microsoft office tutorial? like an open university programme of the past. one day word, next excel, next photoshop, etc - it could be recorded and played back by the student.

Exactly right zorro, the TV could be an excellent tool for learning. Harold Wilson recognised this when he commissioned the Open University. Unfortunately, that no longer happens as far as I'm aware apart from a few popular science documentaries, they mainly broadcast mindless shoite and propaganda.
