Looks like a very familiar template to me.

All this talk of N.Korea being this global threat....wtf have they done other than fire some crook rockets into the sea and shout stuff over a loud speaker?

Yep can't be blamed what our ancestors did, this country is hardly blameless regarding concentration camps, chemical warfare, mass executions etc. You don't take over two thirds of the world by being nice ! Today though we benefit from past actions being one of the richest countries in the world and for me there is place I'd rather live..............and as a dual national I do have a choice

It's very true that both concentration camps and eugenics were both British inventions that were emulated by others trying to do what Britain did, destroy opposing views and rule.
This has nothing to do with helping percieved injustice in another country, it's about opportunism and using an action to appear powerful to garner support at home, and create a homogenised planet where all fall and suckle from the American breast. English monarchy used similar tactics when enforcing their rule by appearing strong in the face of claims to the crown, it's just there are no avenues nowadays to crush their own at home so they pick and chose who to invade next. My point was that trump got elected on the domestic first ticket, which he's s hit all down. N.korea might not be Americas cup of tea but it's not for them to choose....like I said, other than shooting missiles into the sea what have they done? America hold annual events on their boarder just the same. |

In N. Korea there are vast concentration camps and state abductions, public executions and the enslavement of entire families. Former prisoner Shin Dong Hyuk was beaten , tortured and forced to watch the execution of his mother and brother at the age of 13. When he eventually escaped he was 23.
A woman was forced to drown her own baby and entire families tortured and imprisoned for watching a banned foreign soap opera. Young Soon told amnesty international My mother and father were over 70 years of age my 9 year old daughter, my 3 sons 7,4 and 1 When my parents starved to death I didn't have any coffins for them I wrapped their bodies in straw and carried them on my back to bury them When asked what the conditions were like she replied "It is a place that would make your hair stand on end " |

I don't quite see how what I made of nazi concentration camps has any bearing on how opportunistic foreign policy is used today.
I understand the sentiment of some sort of comparison to a dictorial regime but there's always a reason. Many turn out to be untrue after the event lest I remind you. If it's as bad as assumed then wait for them to overthrow the rule. It's just like the ngo's flying illegally into Libya with that well known Tory politician along with 6 SAS crew stirring up s hit right before the proxy war.... Or like that well known son of a well known Tory woman leader in Africa...... |

Why do we have to worry about NK at all? We've worried so much about Afg, Iraq and Libya and most people here still whine about the after effects of that. The refugee crisis has clearly shown that people are fine as long as the war is at another place but really p1ss their pants when the war coems home, even if that's in the form of refugees.
Let's not bother about other countries for a change and let the americans take care of it alone. |

There are two basic reasons why America will never attack NK.
1. NK has almost guaranteed its safety against bullying by achieving nuclear capability. 2. Half the South Korean population lives in the Greater Seoul region. That is all NK have to hit in case of a war. And war is never a noble act lfc. I know you love the americans because according to you any country should be thankful the americans invade it. Americans have a really bad record of actually liberating people from tyrant govts. A couple good examples yes but that's not worth the misery they bring on the rest of the world. |

Exactly. But no matter how bad they are, it doesn't justify an american invasion. That is the point im trying to make. Remember how bad Afghanistan and Iraq was? Theya aren't better off. I know you blame the people for not willing to change, and their religion too. But that's the point. The world is not compatible with the western way. Sooner we realize that, the better it will be. Kim sh1ts on his own people should not be anyone's concern. If it was Belgium or Holland ill understand. But NK is another Iraq and Libya waiting to explode. The only difference is they have a million strong nuclear army and no matter how bad that army is, that's nothing to laugh about.

I do think it should be enshrined in law that every child of eligible age must be forced to go on the front line if their parent was an MP/Senator etc and voted to go to war.

Politicians know that the people know that but there are enough sheeps out there willing to go to war thinking its a noble cause and as long as we have enough of them, the politicians wont need to send their own. If it ever comes down to that, the same politicians will become anti war and continue serving the people. That's how politics works.
Also look at what you are asking them to do. You are asking the lawmakers to write it into a law that they'll have to send their own children to war :D What are the odds on that happening? |
