You could spend million dollars every day since the dawn of civilisation & you would have spent only about a third of US national debt.

As a proportion of GDP, US national debt isn't too much more than ours. Iirc, UK 89%; USA 105%.

fiat currency - the usa does not work to pay for goods from across the world. They print money and buy for free. The reserve currency of the world. China and india are trying to overturn it? they've formed their own cabal.
