If the bait thingy on a normal trap has a little spike to push the bait onto, a little chunk of Twix pushed toffee side down onto it is usually a winner/loser depending which side you're looking at

These are cheap and work great - caught 8 mice in a week in the garage. They also do the chocolate in a tube bait. Easy to set.
