my bus journeys have trebled in cost in ten years, about to be put up again.
I went into Tesco yesterday to buy a savers 30p bar of chocolate among other stuff,
to find they've ramped the price upto 45p.(fifty percent hike?)
Lots of stuff going out of the affordable range to the higher 'get to FK' price range.
3 magnums £3.30 -
saying that - i looked up the price of a external dvd drive - ten quid, i bought one in 2001 and it cost £45?
what did you see jump through the roof?

I bought one in Aberdeen GARTHDEE Currys back then.

inflation is the result of banks literally printing money - the money's got to come from somewhere to keep all these sweaty politicians and canary wharf fat cats in sushi and champagne
Got a camera for seven quid at carboot - takes a video of thirty minutes with great quality. memory card, charger. insane - i keep thinking why did the guy sell it? it's a handy thing to carry same size as a cell phone. a fish supper costs more?
