Is the bridge on one side of the riverbank and not the other? that`s a design fault chaser

now the bridge is closed off on the right entrance to the bridge. That`s an artistic device to stop the viewers eye
from falling off the edge of the page and focus it towards the paintings centre..fair enough, but bridges don't have
that.

has there ever been a painting where the river is at the bottom of a picture like that?
I don't know.

not the way it is painted, just that it is there like that.

there is a white mark under the bridge, that might be a means of trying to resolve the unsolved problem
of the area below the bridge?

the painting might be relying on the same brushwork in the trees and river and bridge, and on the limited colours
to create a feeling of coherence and structure and  throughout the painting that is not there in the paintings fundamental design.

there is no short cut to being a great painter, painting is the same as a mathematical or scientific formula in that way
it is as rigorous as that, very difficult to do.

You should have copyrighted yer work Chaser then JM couldn't have reproduced them.
In all seriousness and no offence intended but it's much more likely you did those 2 than yer OP. Laugh
