if i was playing chess and the person opposite played a move like this? i'd say they don't have a plan and were afraid of losing. it's a stupid move. my confidence would go up and start nibbling at them with bold quick moves.

If you want power? make it all about Brexit. 48 percent of peeps is a large base of voters. it would draw the scots back to your voter base in one election. If you want to lose make it about other stuff.

A huge 48% of punters today believe that Jeremy Corbyn will be Prime Minister following the General Election, whilst only 35% are backing the current PM.

They have to stay in the EU. They made some money off the pound dropping, but now they have to stay with the NEW WORLD ORDER. United Planet Earth.

Haven't you seen the films... one world government - credits instead of money. everyone cataloged.

she started Brexit? But it's two year transition is knackered.

There is a convention that the H of Lords does not oppose stuff that is in the manifesto of a party with a big majority

So it may help in that way.

Though the main thing is the Tories see a 20pt poll lead .

In the long term though i think this is a bad move though for them . Dozens of Blairite Labour MPs are now automatically reselected as candidates.  By 2020 most of them would have been deselected by Corbynites and Labour would have been a far left part in parliament as well as among activists.

This now gives the moderate Labour figures a good chance of taking over again by 2023
