The world's oldest person has died in Italy at the age of 117, reports say.
Emma Morano was born on 29 November 1899 in the Piedmont region of Italy.
She was officially the last person born in the 1800s still living.

Technically , people who lived in the 19th century considered the last day of the century to be December 31st 1900

which it is  - it's nonsense  ending the century at '99  tbf ,but it sounds better and i guess makes life easier .

a bit like the seasons always end/start at the end /start of months and are exactly  3mths regardless of where you are   Crazy
