I'm getting peed off they're worrying my sheep and the hens aren't laying as prolifically!
I blame Trump. They're (military jets) circling the coast of North Norfolk roaring jet engine noises at all manor of random times. I tell people, neighbours etc but they look at me as if i'm simple or something and now to top things off i've got a mole problem. I can only assume the noise and vibration has disturbed them buggers too. I'm currently sat on a deck chair spade in hand waiting to pounce when i next see the earth move.
Anybody else having any of the previously mentioned experiences or just me? Answers on a postcard please alternatively reply here with a good reason

It's just the time of year where the RAF and USAFE tend to hone their night-flying skills.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Give it another couple of weeks and normality will have been restored.

There's a big run on avocado toast in the Chilterns. Not sure if it's connected.

A bamboo cane with a plastic bottle in the end shoved down the mole hole will scarper them to your neighbours garden Mark, they hate the vibrations when the bottle rattles in the wind apparently.

A couple of chinooks flew real low across us in mid beds yesterday .... middle of nowhere, never normally see any military flying

Very little evidence in the Severn Valley.

Often seeing a chinook playing hide and seek with a jet.

So, no UK involvement.

I hesitate to make this posting as the bad guys might be paying attention.

There was a big exercise on a couple of weeks ago involving four Chinooks, four Apaches and some Pumas.  It started off at Keevil (Wiltshire) in week one and moved to Woodbridge (Suffolk) in week two.  RAF transport assets, too (A400 and C-17).  Might have been linked to that, depending on where you are.

Evening again ladies and gentlemen thanks in particular to Topshot for what could be a masterstroke if the mole heads in the right direction to the neighbour i dislike.

To Latalomne i believe you're correct, though they are a few miles closer inland than where they usually practice that stuff. I sympathise with anyone pouring from a flask when a chinook flys overhead unexpectedly.

Loads around the Suffolk coast in the last month, especially chinooks and helicopter gunships.

A week ago 7 gunships flying very low in a diagonal line about 150ft altitude flew over my car as I was driving near Aldeburgh

Incredible sight, like something out of Apocalypse Now

From our reporter on the ground.................

South Lincolnshire (middle of nowhere) reporting:

The electronic target for the practice runs is on the marshes less than 400 yards from my property.
When we moved here 16 months ago the dogs used to go mad at the planes and even more mad when they fired.  They got used to it, and the practice runs are mostly on Tuesdays.

When they have a call to go out at night they don’t normally go too fast until they’re out over The Wash, but the dogs hear them and go mad as it’s not their usual night time noises.

'It’s was only 25 minutes to the Calais ‘Jungle’ camp at 550 mph, They could have done us all a favour and said they hit the wrong target.' too bl00dy late now, AngryLaugh

2 tornadoes flew overhead last week in leafy Sussex (leafy apart from the insane amount of house building and traffic, that is..)

My local Waitrose has been short of Duchy Organic Houmous since then. I'm hoping it's just a spooky coincidence.

Holbeach, Boxingthefox?

Keep your eyes peeled for some different shapes in the skies over the coming couple of weeks.  Six American F-35s arrived in Suffolk yesterday to 'play' with NATO forces.  They'll become a common sight in the years to come as the RAF has a load on order (and USAFE intends to replace the F-15s at Lakenheath with them too).
Report dambuster April 16, 2017 5:44 PM BST
over 300 Chinooks flew over last night, and the sky was full of gunships, and Hercules planes
