wouldnt want one of those hitting your house ! read somewhere that in ww2 some bomber planes, allied and german used to load extra stuff like them old steel gas cookers , anything lumpy to make up the weight ,imagine a steel cooker hitting your house from half a mile up ,never mind a bomb !

Apparently the bomb was so massive that it had to be dropped from the rear of a cargo plane. The bomb rolls out on a pallet pulled by a drogue parachute. Its blast radius is estimated to stretch a mile in every direction. |
