It's a terrible point. The refugee story is current, ie news. The Oxford story is for the most part sub judice now charges have been made.

But yes, there are odd omissions from both stories. No descriptions of the attackers in Croydon, and in the Oxford case, compare the ages of the accused with the dates of the offences. This looks different from the older men involved in, say, Rotherham.

this sort of attack is common place amongst 17 year olds generally where i am and don't always involve foreigners  -just drink and drugs and the main reason  - blokes showing off in front of women the main reason for these attacks  - the same as lunatic drivers - always have a  lass in tow

You wouldn't believe the number of stabbings and gun related crimes every day down here - it's all in the evening standard most times.  Many without descriptions.   I have no idea why.

Surely the victim would have seen them and so would witnesses.

I don't know. My guess would be there are no descriptions because the police feel there is no point, and so the defence brief can't later suggest the police have tainted the evidence by planting descriptions in witnesses' minds. After all, you will already know if you saw a big punch-up at the bus stop near the pub. The police already have the witnesses who helped afterwards, and the victim's two friends who were also attacked.

Most of the appeals for witnesses posters I've seen tend to give a time and the outline of the offence, eg assault, here, Saturday 11pm, type of thing.

In this case, we've not been told if the attackers were black, white or sky blue pink. I'm not reading anything into that.

Another teenage asylum seeker "atttack".

This one is an 18-year-old Somalian.

It's claimed that he broke into sheltered accommodation in Neuenhaus, Germany.

Police say he sneaked into the room of a 59-year-old paralysed man and raped him.

After "raping the first man, he moved to an adjoining room to rape a second man".

He was caught by the victim's wife who he then killed, according to the police.

He will be tried by the Landgericht Osnabruck, which is a youth court.

Guy murdered in a Canning Town off licence yesterday afternoon but all iv'e heard all day on BBC radio London is about this asylum seeker attack.Its as if all other attacks/murders in Londonstan are confined to the rubbish bin because the victims aren't "asylum seekers".On the half hour and every hour this story has been rammed down our throats.Not even the bomb attack on the russian underground could knock this story off the headlines.

Why does it make any difference if the perpetrators that did this are black or white - weirdly (for you lot that have barely spoken to anyone of dark skin other than when you order a meal in your entire life) black and white w/c youth might actually feel the same about some things!
