I went to an astronomers conference recently and they are very bullish about how popular the industry will become. Sky's the limit they said.Plain

two days to go - hope the sky is clear to see if it lives up to the simulation. it's a pink full moon?  I don't think anyone will notice that.

Most things in the sky are underwhelming and this will be the same. The only thing of note will be the changing position of the Moon over a couple of hours.

Unless you can make it to the US this August then 2026 and Reykjavik or Spain is the place to be: https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/solar/2026-august-12

Jupiter / Moon conjunctions aren't rare, they'll be just as close again next month. I think we've even had threads on here in years gone by about them.

It's just an optical effect when viewed from Earth. In fact the moon is much closer to the Sun than it is to Jupiter.

Jupiter hit the main news - Sky says it's the closest it gets this year - showed photos of the globe. Kind of does away with flat earthers unless we are seeing it from above? I take it it's not just us that are flat? that all the planets are flat? That american author really is a tw@t for starting this crap... can you name him?

I took that using my telescope and a webcam. The webcam takes a movie and then software splits it into single pictures. It then selects all the best images and stacks them on top of each other. It's not a great pic but I'm very light polluted. You can at least make out the bands and Jupiter's Moons.

go on....and whats the significance then?
The three elements in the sky create a triangle pointing the direction to a secret?

Its not another one of jesus's foreskins behind that tree on the mountain its pointing to is it?

i do that myself. the resolution is quite good in the modern digital cameras. my first digital was in 2000 and one photo was 640x480 - no video. Now it's exploded. you get better in a video capture frame.

i don't really understand why you'd sit and take a still photo at a live action event like football. when you can get a video capture frame which would be acceptable in quality years ago? less likely to miss a crucial moment in the action.

as part of my Design course years ago the camera tutor told us he went to the football games with a laptop and loads of memory cards - he'd set the camera to machine gun mode. emailing images into the newspaper. That was 2002? showed us a £2,000 digital camera (now comparable to a £200 camera)he used to take thousands of photos in the past and it was costly and the negatives would fill black bags. he'd use a few frames and bin the rest. I said to him.. couldn't you archive them? he said nobody would want to see them? All that wasted time and resources.

The Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation by God from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses.

As the troubles of Jacob seems to have started already(dec vote against Israel by UN) I expect them to attack Israel soon. I think it'll get batted back. but Israel should be in the news.

Why would these items in the sky be relevant on this day over any other?

God's letting you know something is on the horizon.

you've had four tetrad moons in 2015 - a strawberry moon in June 2016(not seen since 1948?1967 two famous Israel years) a supermoon in November(not since 1948, israel a nation) when Jupiter entered Virgo.
a solar eclipse in August over the USA (then exactly seven years later).
God uses the stars to give you signs and seasons(satan has bast ardized it to make it sound crackpot) the star of Bethlehem was a sign. JUPITER is called the king planet. Satan does not move planets.

it's pattern in the sky - you get a warning of 1260 days. it'll be repeated after the rapture. sets of 1260 days. God's clock is in the sky. mofosy

Signed up for that Crystal.

I quite like Zorro's site although the levels seem a bit optimistic. I'd give a Total Solar Eclipse or a Supernova a level 1 and things like this an 8 or 9/10.

Molecular clocks track human evolution
By EarthSky Voices in Human World | 6 hours ago

How do scientists figure out when evolutionary events happened? It turns out our DNA is a kind of molecular clock, keeping time via genetic changes.

what is this? some crea-tard scam? Don't believe it. It'll show that the mitocondrial clock is only 6,000 years old instead of 200,000 years. creationist science. deny deny deny. does not compute.

Ironic since existence is nothing but a simulation anyway.

the full moon is next to Jupiter the king planet on passover 2017(5777)-

the solar eclipse in August is next to Regulus, 33 days before the revelation 12 sign. 40 days from Yom Kippur. You back track a sign to 2000 years ago and this is the repeat pattern of the star of Bethlehem. Using a star mapping program like Stellarium. the star of Bethlehem took a month to go through it's spectacle.

the moon didn't have to be near anything at passover.

just a jubilee year with a lot of star stuff significant to Israel.
strawberry moon, super moon, full moon with Jupiter, solar eclipse 33 days from rev12 sign in September.

Nice array of coincidences.

while on earth Syria is getting pounded and turned to talc, mass immigration across the globe bigger than after ww2, half the animals dying off since 1977 WWF figures, earthquake frequency up, information explosion, seawater contaminated and killing the fish,  toing and froing up, weird viruses on an upward curve, nutters from Muhammadan countries are chopping peoples heads off. More vile TV content that turns your stomach, getting you ready for what's coming.

Maybe I'm not imagining this?
