You should leave the house every now and then.
Plus, don't believe everything you watch or read on the internet. |
By:
You concur with the BBC's analysis that it was sheer coincidence then, sir?
By:
Three terrorists detonating rucksack bombs at Liverpool Street, Edgware Road and King's Cross on the same day that a crisis management company were conducting an exercise drill involving three terrorists detonating rucksack bombs at Liverpool Street, Edgware Road and King's Cross.
That's one hell of a coincidence in my book. I would contend that whoever planned this atrocity must have had some prior knowledge of the staged drill. |
By:
I would not have believed anything about an exercise drill at all were it not for the fact that the managing director gave a televised interview on the same day.
By:
A couple of possibilities.
1. Perhaps VC Weren't actually doing what they claim to have been doing but have adjusted the times and places of an exercise they MAY have been carrying out because it makes for a little publicity/fame (where better than the internet?) 2. Their plans - if it were true - were nicked and used by the bombers because it saved them a job, thus making VC unwittingly complicit. If they were at these places, at the same time as the bombings and were doing the same thing, how many of them were injured or killed? I'd have been a tiny bit more doubtful if the plans were available before the event and not after it. |
By:
are you designing a logo for them pm ?
By:
Thousands being involved in a private sector terrorist drill exercise?
Okay... Who were the clients? |
By:
I doubt this exercise drill ever existed, and certainly not involving the exact same train stations on the exact same date. If it were true it would be all over the news at the time and I don't remember it.
By:
Here's a clip of the managing director of VC giving his interview on the news that day. It's not the recording I was referring to in my OP as the newsreader is out of shot, but it's almost identical. One minute and twenty-seven seconds in length.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKvkhe3rqtc And this is the BBC documentary debunking the conspiracy theory. Fifty-eight minutes in length. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVH1MEdWzW0 |

By:
Good evening, Study.
That's true, sir, there is a possibility that Peter Power was lying, but it would seem incredibly ill-advised to implicate oneself in a terrorist act of mass murder for the sake of publicity. |
By:
I looked at the 1st clip, PM.
My thought was simple - "This geezer's a Walter Mitty" Mentioned the company name though! My earlier question stands.... Where were all his operatives then? Any hurt? Given that they would have been at all the locations at the time. Sorry mate, definitely bullplop for me. |
By:
If it had been me, the whole world would have known about the plans, surely they would be a MASSIVE clue to the workings of the attack
By:
If you watch the BBC documentary debunking the conspiracy theory they do not deny the existence of Visor Consultants' terror drill, or its exact parallels to reality, they simply dismiss everything as coincidence!
By:
Sorry but absolute rubbish.
By:
Which part, Akabula?
Do you believe Peter Power is lying through his teeth in that interview? If that were the case, one would have expected the BBC to expose such lies in its debunking documentary. |
By:
Kinda stopped reading at conspiracy.
By:
1000 people knew about drill which leaked out to the extremists and they decided to do commit the atrocities exactly as it had been laid out in the exercise.
Consequently they would be under less suspicion as the authorities would assume that they were part of the drill. This would make it more likely they would succeed. |
By:
Well, one thing that isn't in doubt, sir, is that the terrible events of that day were most certainly a conspiracy. One must guard against preconceptions clouding judgement.
By:
next thing youll be saying 9/11 was set up by George w and his croonies

By:
I witnessed this at the time, saw the follow up and took part in debates in pubs and on here but you want to reopen it yet again.
Why? Tis a load of tosh up there with all the other conspiracy theories like Elvis didn't die, we never reached the moon and etc etc . I'll desist replying to anything else so don't waste yer time with any more questions. |
By:
moon landing a fake? yes I agree with you akabula never happened
By:
Bringing up those who engage in Elvis and moon-landing denial are simply straw man arguments, sir, and bear no relation whatsoever with any of the points I've raised above. At least do me the courtesy of debating with good grace or just remain silent.
By:
Good luck with that PM.
It's possible the BBC just don't want to call him a liar for fear of libel? I don't know? Also if they just say he's a liar there's an hour of TV wasted and all those making the programme want paying! So and of course I'm only guessing, you have a bloke trying to promote his business and not worried about making some stuff up and a TV crew protecting their own interests and no-one really arguing with either because it all got lost in the furore of the event and at that time. |
By:
Just watched those videos PM. The BBC one seemed more like a hatchet job on that loner who posted the CD to a judge and got jailed, but fair play - all the stuff about the practice drill does look well dodgy. Never heard about that before mate.
By:
i do think it very strange that they were able to find documents belonging to the bombers,
maybe they thoughthey weregoing to paradise so it didn't really matter but it allowed the police to trace where they came from very quickly, strange thing to do. |
By:
the police had no need of DNA evidence to identify the suspected bombers as the men were ALL carrying personal documents.
it is if they wanted their identities to be known!? and why did the bombers buy round-trip tickets and pay for long-term parking for 7 days? the police said "the four men looked like happy hikers laughing and joking" could it be someone else did it? |
By:
and just like 9/11 NO INVESTIGION, no you wouldn't want that tony would you, to me if all the info comes out quickly theres something very wrong, always have an open mind!
By:
you have to carry id because if you are carrying a backpack and the police observe you, in London, in certain circumstances they can ask for id.
By:
when they look at the id that can be enough sometimes and they will not check further, such as check the backpack.
By:
a return ticket is something that someone returning would buy, that`s why they buy it.
By:
but they were"nt returning one way or another now were they, and sorry these guys were blowing themselves up plus as many as they could so what do they want ID cards for?
By:
they need id to show to the police if asked, and they need a return ticket to explain what they are doing in London, if asked.
By:
if you have a backpack and are behaving in a certain way, the police in London will stop you and ask for id
By:
a certain way?
By:
yes, they are surprisingly good at noticing small things, simple things that may mean nothing.
By:
and if they do they will ask for id, ask a few questions
By:
They will make a phone call of course
By:
think you live in another world to me

lfc...have you considered condensing your thoughts into fewer or perhaps, even, one post?
This rat-a- tat, thinking out loud, stream of consciousness style is a trifle irritating. If for nothing else, by the time people respond to your initial point, you have introduced 5 disparate points, occasionally contradicting point 1, or even eventually figuring out yourself that Point one was erroneous etc etc. #notsurewhyibother |
