On the adverts it shows some bird going along handing out chequers in the same street - some winners have got £10000 and some £250000. Why such a difference? Is it simply because the big winners pay in more? But twenty-five times more doesn't sound likely to me. At a tenner a month minimum that would presumably mean the £250000 winner is shelling out £250 a month! Is that right? When you see the houses of the winners that sort of outlay doesn't seem plausible.
Google it and it tells you everything you don't need to know ...
e.g.
It costs £10 per month to play a single subscription, which plays a ticket in each prize draw for a month. Two subscriptions would be £20 per month, and plays two tickets in every draw. Three subscriptions would cost £30 per month, and would give you three tickets in every prize draw. The simplest way to pay for your monthly subscription is via Direct Debit. You can also pay by Debit Card (subject to a 15p monthly transaction fee) or PayPal (with a 35p monthly transaction fee). When do I pay?
Not for us chit chatters, it seems too complex, all that 2 tickets costing £20, 3 costing £30. It just makes my head spin.

Fook me it's even more complicated than I thought.
Does everyone in the winning postcode win?
When a postcode gets lucky, only players of People’s Postcode Lottery win a prize. If you have a neighbour in your postcode who isn’t playing, and your postcode wins a prize, unfortunately they miss out. If you aren’t playing yet, your postcode might already be playing in the draw if a neighbour has already subscribed. If your postcode comes up and you aren’t yet playing, one of your neighbours will be collecting a cheque but you will not receive any prize. Don’t miss your chance if your postcode gets lucky!
Wow, I think it's for rocket scientists, not us chit chatters

So somebody winning 250k has paid in 25 times more than somebody winning 10k in the same street? Bloody hell, there are some rich beggars about! It just seems amazing that somebody living in what looks like a modest house can afford to ship £250 a month. I bet when it happens like that the 10k winners are ticked right off that their wealthier neighbours have copped so much and, in doing so, also reduced everyone else's share!

But if you're guaranteed to win, then it's easy money.
Haven't got to that bit on their website, but I might have a go.
Can't wait to see neighbour's face when I win £10k and he gets fook all (unless the b@stard's bought more tickets than me)

Winning £10k can have a big effect on a lower income household. Pay off a credit card, afford a holiday etc
Not going to retire off it but could easily change lifestyle for a year

I've just had a look at the prize structure. 79% of winning weekly returns paid as money back tickets. JESUS WEPT.
Also says that at least 30% goes to charity, but neglects to say roughly how much is paid out in prizes.
It's almost as bad as MadBid.

Paying people their money back as prizes is simply a way for the lottery to bankroll future subscriptions and make sure they get virtually every penny off these poor mugs.

I looked at the bottom of the screen to see if it saaid anything like "played by actors" but there's not, so there actually trying to pass these jokers off as real people. It's so bad it's comical, Eldorado style.

I see the equality people have got at the advert. There's a couple one of whom is very butch and the other quite fem. I think they are a Lebanese pair!

I joined last November and got a winner in the second month - £10 - whoopee!
Apparently you can win £250,000 with just one ticket (£10 per month), but if you buy 2 tickets (£20 per month) and you win the £250,000 prize (or whichever prize you win), then because you have 2 tickets, they would double that particular prize win to £500,000.
I hope that clarifies it.
