An undercover investigation revealing the reality of life behind bars in Britain's crisis-hit prison system, with footage recorded by a reporter also working as an officer at a Category C adult prison showing how inmates are effectively running the prison.

The film also reveals how prison officers do not feel able to maintain control and are at risk themselves, while weak inmates suffer, career criminals profit while jailed and drug addicts simply change which narcotics they use

The prison is run by the French-owned Sodexo, who won a £250 million contract in 2013 to manage it.
