ok,you walk pass them every day,but when did you last look after your Gate, did you clean it?,did you paint it?When did you last oil the hinges of you gate.Do you look after its bolt.it seems to me that most gates are neglected. How long is it since you changed the battery in the remote control for you main gates?
yet you expect the gate to open and shut every time.So the next time you walk out your gates have a second glance at them and then plan a day to take care of your gates.LaughLaughLaugh.

I don't have a gate !

What should I do ?
Report brassneck February 13, 2017 6:32 PM GMT
have a look at the nearest gate and ask the owner "does it cost much money to maintain his gate"
Then when you get that information ,you can have a good long think about getting a gate for yourself.
it a big decision in life and nobody should underestimate the power of  a gate.
There is great advice on the internet about buying a gate.Happy

if you get a good gate it can keep a dog in or out.Grin

And another valid point about gates is,that you buy it for yourself, nobody will ever buy YOU a gate as a present.
if you walk into a pub you may meet a friend who will say"let me buy you a drink"but if you meet the same friend in a gate foundry there is no chance of him saying"let me buy you a gate"

Agate /ˈæɡət/ is a cryptocrystalline variety of silica, chiefly chalcedony, characterised by its fineness of grain and brightness of color. Although agates may be found in various kinds of rock, they are classically associated with volcanic rocks and can be common in certain metamorphic rocks

How the fook does a big piece of cryptocrystalline piece of silica keep people out?  Unless it's Superman, I s'pose

Sorry, repetitive use of piece, there.
Leppie, our forum intellectual will be on to it.

Of course Bill was the first thing that came to mind, but lets not forget Gareth Gates, who was recently described as a "Fallen Idol"!

Found hammered and laying over a piano, after a twelve hour drinking session at a Manchester hotel.
