England win the rugby v Wales !

I'm very much a fair weather fan but I surprised myself by my reaction to that England try.  Seems that England have got the knack of winning when not playing well.

Rugby league...a game for the people..rough ,tough ..no quarter given..a proper mans game..in other words a game for Brexiteers

Union........ a game for the pseudo intellectuals who think they are superior to the general population .in other words remainers


Just the way i see it

I'm a Brexiteer  and I prefer rugby union...... It's a bit more nuanced and less thuggish

Rugby league is very repetitive, Stop start stop start, Always the same

wales were very strong in the tackle, winning many turnovers, england perhaps had more speed

a good game which hinged on an awful kick from wales on 75 mins, brilliantly ran back by england

Union. generally kick and clap although to be fair not the case in tonight's match...for an entertaining spectacle League imo is lights years ahead and i'm speaking as a southerner

league might be a good game but only england of the home nations are any good at it
so there would be no point in a home international series on tv

the union 6 nations is a great balance between the teams which makes it
great viewing

indeed, italy are an expansion team, good luck to em one day

Needs to shave his beard off though.

italy only in it so the blazers can have a jolly up in rome every other year. georgia might be better than italy. not sure they'd be quite so keen on a trip to tbilisi in mid winter
