typing this from remote k/b not a single letter works,tried device manager but no joy ,any help appreciated .

probably gone mate. look up how to replace it online, not too difficult. you have to remove the screen, take a few screws out, try to reseat the keyboard i.e. remove it and re-enter it but you might need a new one. you can buy them online
