Excellent film. Well acted,directed and fully deserved of its 14 Oscar nominations.
I saw La La Land four months ago, the Labour Party Conference came to my hometown.

Sounds like it was right up Fact's alley, just where he likes it.
I've reported them to Trading Standards. 2 hours and not one Tele Tubby.
I'm looking forward to this but will wait until it comes out on DVD. I don't go to the cinema.

Is this suitable material for a gambling forum?
I mean, this sort of thing could lead to healthy young chit chatters getting a warped view of human relationships.
We could see well-balanced individuals giving up drinking and gambling only to start singing in supermarket aisles.

Its a massive critic w@nkfest. I'm not adverse to a "musical" (give me that over some superhero shyte) but honestly the film is a complete let down. Same tune runs through most of it the rest of the songs are forgettable. The storyline is boy meets girls and the film doesn't go beyond that. There is nothing special about it at all. I will concede the setting and cinematography is nice, but you can't appreciate it as much when you are watching on a kodi box. And with 14 ****g Oscars I'd be expecting a bit more than nice cinematography.
It is so overrated, it was good but not brilliant, the songs are instantly forgettable, Ryan Gosling has no emotion, Emma Stone was very good, take her out and it would have been a train wreck of a film, the ending could have been done a lot better instead of a cheesy mish-mash, but by that time I really couldn't care and was more interested if I could get a refund.
However it got 14 oscar nominations I don't know. And now very likely to win Best Picture at the Oscars. It is just not that brilliant. On a 5-star rating I would give it **. Or a very generous 3.
Having said that, wife absolutely loved it, and she was crying at the end, and she has now downloaded every single song from the soundtrack.

Anybody that would go to see La La Land and give T2 a miss is a pure f@nny imho.
