I'm paying just over £38 for a full HD package but don't have the new Sky Q thingy.

I've not got Sky Q, but I've got everything else. Movies, Sports, all HD channels, box sets, phone (which I've never used) and internet. £88 a month. Then extra to Racing UK.

I switched from Virgin to Sky a couple of years ago, and got all that for about £55 for the first year.

With Virgin..i pay £76 approx per month and for that i have two boxes(1 tivo) all sports including BT in both rooms and both in HD.The broadband is fantastic( download speed of 220Mbps and upload 12.41) and free landline calls but weekends only.I also have a Kodi stick(fully loaded cost £50) which is brilliant for watching the latest films but useless for watching sports.I was with Sky but would NEVER go back to them.Virgins C/C are also vastly superior.

Astonished people still have Sky Movies in the days of Kodi.

£78 gets me Sky Sports HD, full TV HD, phone + 200MB broadband.

Still a bloody lot mind.

I changed because Sky lost the big bash and the ashes Cricket to BT..I think 70 odd quid a month for that lot Hamsterdam is good value. The HD picture quality for me is a must.

I kind of agree with you Hamsterdam, but when you look at our bill difference, I'm only paying a tenner a month more for movies and boxsets. I've also got it in the bedroom too (I forgot that was extra).

Ask on here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/all/ask/discussed

I love that site, it has cost me a fortune but I've also had and seen some real bargains. Someone on there will help you.

GoOnThere, just buy a Firestick from Argos and follow this guide: http://troypoint.com/how-to-install-kodi-on-fire-tv/

If you buy a pre loaded stick you'll end up having to upgrade anyway and you'll have to pay someone to do it for you. This way you will know what to do and fix any inevitable problems.

Yes, I don't watch them, only boxsets mainly.

My son always seems to find decent streams but he keeps up to date with things so they must be findable.

Thanks Oval. I'll check it out.

Me and my Son done it independently so it's not that hard, it seems difficult but that's only your 1st time. Just follow the many online guides. He can find the streams but I gave up on live events, just too many trying to watch at the same time. Boxsets and films are a different matter and you always find a good picture.
