12 months is a more than fair sentence for this crime. If anything he has gotten off very easily

... yes afraid so, nows a good time for trump to show some compassion and get the lad home for some treatment.

Lenient ?!! . In hindsight , he should be given a medal for his efforts in trying to protect society as a whole, from a true 'nutcase'

Facts compassion is normally for refugees but its now extended to anyone who would assassinate politicians he doesn't like.

What's surprising in this case is his normal antipathy to anyone British and white is trumped by his hatred of Trump.

think the US were just happy to deport him. he's our problem now
