It hasn't been zero for years.

If I don't deposit anything for a few days will Betfair give me some sort of special offer or bonus to encourage me?

Just out of interest, lay a few horses in running, keep bets of 0.49 at 0.01p and see what happens.

Actually, thinking about it, you won't be able to do this on the betfair site, but only through an app!

No good if you wait a month for a £20 free bet if it means you miss out on winning thousands in the meantime.

Actually, again, that might not work at all, as the bot will fire in a £2.00 bet, and then change it to £2.01, and cancel the £2.00 bet!

So the first bet will be rejected!!!

Anyway, probably best to not play games, as you may get castrated, and lose your Xmas hamper.....Wink

AP - I may have misunderstood your posts but there is a way of placing bets for pennies (without an app or a bot)

Yes nick...I know that but you have to first place one for £2.00 before changing to £2.01 and cancelling the £2.00 bet.

You can't do it with less than £2.00 in your account!

Actually again again, you would need £2.01 in your account

You don't need £2 if you are laying - just 2 or 3p

Actually, more than that but less than £2

Actually again, again, again, you would need considerably more than £2.00 in your account,
as the liability is multiplied by the price at which you are laying!

Yes nick but we are talking about betting with zero balance.

You could lay at 1.01 for £2.00, so your liability is £0.02, so you can't do it with a zero balance!

Anyway this is "Chit Chat" so we don't want to talk about such rubbish as betting! Laugh
