royal mail stuff doesnt have a great track record
still, the stamps will look good on letters ! sometimes you can buy a full sheet of stamps, they may well end up rarer than the prints ! |

Already ordered some stuff .....after paying for Pink Floyd ones last year. The framed stamps look good on the wall.

I ordered some stuff as well just for my own pleasure. Can't help thinking that far more than 950 Bowie fans will think the same.

Less than a thousand limited addition. ? Buy buy buy !

Bowie fans are music fans I will skip this and keep to collecting records.
43cm x 43cm print is a total rip off. |

I'm guessing that these stamps will be a better investment than the infamous 'Bowie Bonds' that were soon marked down to Junk Bond status.
David parted fools from their money very efficiently from 1978 onwards. Little wonder why he left such an astonishing astronomical estate. Normally such men would be poison to self-confessed Socialists like Chit Chat's very own IAN Mohammed. |

A lot of these stamps end up being worth considerably less than what you paid for them.
You do a lot better buying R.S.D limited edition picture discs as far as Bowie is concerned even though they probably sell thousands. |

For instance Rock and Roll suicide I reluctantly paid £11.00 for one but could easily get £50 for it
now to a collector. |

did you get the last satanic album ? you got to get it man.
a big black star and a witch's curse... quickly, where can i get it. |
|
By:
No but I have most of his earlier Albums ,but to play on my record player.

Looks like Aladdin Sane and Heros limited prints no longer available.

Alun2005 - Remember that his "astonishing astronomical estate" was significantly affected by his modern art purchases, which were astute, and very timely. In fact given some of the subsequent sale prices, his estate was way undervalued.

Here is a link to Part 1 the estate sale - Just £20m+, and he bought the Auerbach's and the Basquiat's quite early, particularly the latter.
