Oh God, it's still a flippin nightmare. He still has 21 cats and another litter is due soon. I've given up trying to help the man, I've done all I can but he is the most stubborn person I've ever known in my entire life. He lives in a mansion and there is literally cat faeces and urine in every room. Cat Protection were absolutely hopeless, no other organisations are interested because the cats are being looked after and fed regularly and not in distress. They will be the death of him.

Oh dear, that's shocking. I have 5 and it's hard work. Main thing is to stop them from reproducing but if CP can't help I really don't know. He could pay a home visit vet to come out and do the spaying/neutering but it would be costly, but worth it. If you want to send me his postcode I can look into it.

There's a Guy I know who kept about 20 cats in his ground floor flat the smell was horrendous
when he moved out all the floor boards had to be replaced to get rid of the smell!

I have home visits. £40, probably more where he is.

It's pretty horrendous in my house Breediingmad. lol. I have a house full of Neutradols. lol

Thanks kenny, I'll have to ask his daughter first before any further action. He is 83 and doing a PhD and that is taking up all of his time, the local council even offered to do a steam clean for free and he refused to allow it til he got his PhD. Utter madness.

Facts, he is a Cambridge scholar. He worked as a journalist for the Financial Times and has met every world leader over the last 40 years or so. The man has intelligence in spades but cats are his Achilles heel. I've spent a year and a half trying to get a solution to help him but he just won't listen to reason. It's not his daughter's fault, this ended up in my lap as she could not deal with it and I was happy to try and resolve things but I was banging my head against a brick wall. The cats inter breed and the kittens don't last long. It's completely insane that such an intelligent man cannot see the woods for the trees. His PhD has taken over his life to the detriment of his health and everything else.

Well, facts, he was only 9 years old when my sister got married, and they're still batting, so not all that really.
