Well i've not been on here for a good while but it's always a good place for some info.

Is there a Bet Broker or similar to place bets on UK High Street Bookies? If not does anyone have any stories or tips re: Multi Accounting or 'gnoming' as I now cannot get a reasonable size bet on with ANY bookie now .... and neither can my 'wife'.

I have read much on the internet regarding the frustration of gubbing successful punters but are we still in the dark ages with this?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

You should try the betting exchanges.  With your innate and original wisdom you are sure to fleece the unwary.  And, always remember, there are a couple of million innocents born every week.

I don't care for the way he has written 'wife' like that, it conjures all sorts of disturbing images.

When I posted he had 14,000+ topics/replies now it's 807. What I want to know is - are you a figment of my imagination?

If so, you're fired.

My advice for what it's worth is NEVER bet online unless with the exchanges. Don't know where you live but if I fancy say, three EW 'steals' I will troll the city centre putting on the bet with several bookies.

This is very rare I may add as it can take up to two hours, even eight one day after bumping into a pal and sharing stories whilst drinking many large Smirnoffs.

If I cant be arsed I will place back all three on here with a smaller stake on the win side. HTH.

Takes me back to when there was no online betting.  Driving round the local betting shops trying to get money on.  Generally a complete ****g waste of time.  Recall being in the shop under Waterloo station to back Burrough Hill Lad for the Welsh National when the weights came out. 7-4 was it? Not exactly money for nothing.

Ridden by the great John Francome. Superb horse, superb pilot.

Favourite for every big race for about three years, turned up about twice.

What a machine though, was a decent era for chasers and he would routinely have to give the best of them a couple of stone if he ever turned up.
