U.S trip suggestions

Done New York loved it,Florida 2 times not got a bad word to say about it lol. I hear San Francisco is good although be nice to hear what other say before I commit ?

Most US cities are lifeless, sterile and incredibly similar to each other, particularly those on the East Coast with the obvious exception of New York, so don't waste your time going to them. New Orleans is different and well worth a visit.

Start in Las Vegas. Drive to Yosemite national park. Then down to the national parks of Utah. Canyonlands,Bryce,Arches,Zion etc. Then to Monument Valley,Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Back to Las Vegas.

Why Detroit, Breeding? New Orleans sounds an option for sure.

I did the same trip Anubis - awesome. Two extremes, the madness of Vegas and the solitude of the GC and the parks in Utah

I have also done a New Orleans/Memphis/Nashville driving holiday which I would recommend

Boston is worth a visit, a couple of days would be enough though to see everything.

Agreed, was actually quite bored there after a couple of days.

Agreed as well, spent 2 days in L.A. en route to Hawaii and we couldn't wait to get out of the place fast enough.

We need more details. What kind of trip do you want? beach?, outdoors treks eg national parks, city trip?

My footy team are playing a friendly in Detroit in May, I'd love to go but I think it's beyond me atm.
