You have to ask yourself why? I would say things like this are telling and have wider implications in terms of terrorism. Certain communities (and by that I mean different cultures) in Britain, when dealing with dangerous elements within their society, will either act in blind denial of that danger or (worse still) will protect these dangerous individuals because their faith tells them they have a duty to do so above all else.
This man had a gun and had previous form. None of this seems to matter to those people who turned up today. Tomorrow it could be a terrorist with a bomb and, I believe, the same people would protect, hide and defend them as well.

This must be what the lovely Mrs May calls the community. The community getting together. This is excellent progress. THE community getting together to celebrate the life of a leading light, sadly passing on. A family man? Looking for 'love' on a dating site. It's a tribal thing. If a British gangster living in the Costas got shot by the local police in similar circumstances,
his funeral would be well supported by ex-pats living in the same community. Doesn't make him any less of a scumbag though. |

A bit pathetic people on here trying to turn this into a Muslim thing. Of course it's a tribal thing and as has been pointed out the Krays plus plenty of other criminals from different backgrounds have had funerals with big turn outs.
