Vigil or riot?

BBC said it was largely peaceful 'except for damage to various cars including a police car'.

From TC's link

Nadeem Murtuja, chairman of the human rights and racial justice campaign group Just Yorkshire, said: "There is a great deal of disquiet in the community about the death of Mr Yaqub and it is crucial that both his family and the Huddersfield community are kept informed about the conduct of the investigation and the events that led to the fatal shooting."

It beggars belief that the policeman should be prosecuted for killing such a person.

If you are a terrorist, drug dealer (with guns in your car) its an occupational hazard if you get shot by the law.

You undertake those activities you accept the risk.

The Israeli soldier shot  a terrorist, how did he know he had no bomb etc, no point in taking chances, he did the right thing.

A drug dealer with guns in his car, pull over, hands on head. The racial counsel or whatever they call themselves should be looking into the criminal activity of Mr Yacub.

I just cannot believe the totally uncritical coverage of this story on sky.  It appears an innocent family man has been gunned down by a out of control police hit squad.  Meanwhile, protesters have been allowed to go around smashing into cop cars etc etc.
I wasn't aware violent drug dealers are now protected from criticism by the media.

it's a bit like the Mark Duggan thing a few years ago, had the gangster been white it's virtually a non-story and there would be no protests. But because it's an ethnic minority they are all up in arms about it, it just demonstrates the "us and them" mentality that ethnic minorities seem to take. When white people take that approach they are labelled as racists
