It certainly is, I've just been looking through the Skyscanner app which is very helpful when you're a bit of a thicko like me where the planets are concerned.

Mars is also visible a bit higher up (and a lot dimmer than Venus). Neptune is also there, but you won't see it with the naked eye

You're not alone Dan. Being 14 miles from Heathrow I initially thought it was a plane. I had to download a star app to educate myself.

looks like the Turkish flag - i was staring at it so much a girl turned round to look at it. Just then her designer paper bag from one of the clothes shops burst and all her shopping went over the middle of the road. It was as if i had super powers for a moment. bloody funny.

Same place - starting at around 50 degrees above the horizon in the South No different tonight than it has been, in my view. |
