That Pontius bloke in the bible.

Seemed a good sort to me.

WTF, Jesus with all his supernatural powers didn't even give him the Saturday rollover lottery numbers.

Some pal.  I'd have shopped him to the romans too for a few quid

the pirate books, I read them in Junior school,I can't remember the name of the pirates just that there was a red one, a green one and a blue  one. Also I'm not really sure which was my favourite of the three.

Hope this helps.

'Did he offer a good line in duty frees ?'

Almost certainly. The best thing to plunder at the time was French wine from smugglers. There was a heck of a lot of it and the piracy would not be reported (not that it would have made much difference!). The Normans stopped Channel piracy, but couldn't crack the smuggling. Plus ca change.....

Pirates are the symbol of capitalist suppression of the minorities. They are ray chyst and misonygistically repressive!!!  Only the greed for gold is exceeded by their sexual lusts for the bodies of women.
I also notice they never include gays in their crews.  Clearly government need to act on this.
I understand it was the imperialist britsh government that started all this piracy as an official policy.
I await an apology and compensayshun

I thank you
