She was great in Mother, with Albert Brooks. I liked her in Susan Slept Here with Dick Powell and the Gazebo, a murder farce. a real talent. She knew her strengths.
As soon as Carrie died, I felt she wouldn't last. I saw postcards from the edge twenty years ago and knew they were well bonded. tragic.
