Old boy with all his possessions was leaving a very well known establishment near Heathrow this evening.
My lady is rather sharp and said ' I bet they feed him here'

'How do you know'? I asked.
'He is homeless', she replied.

'Here go and bung him a tenner'

she went over to him and he refused it!!!

He said that he had been fed and he would not take money on or near any premises where he was fed.

But she was right. Some how my lady knew he got fed there.
How about that.
I won't mention the establishment as I wouldn't want to get staff into trouble.
I wonder where else this sort of help/charity takes place.

I was rather touched by the old gentleman's attitude and grace

And before any of you nasty cynics on here say she saw the t bone steak hanging out of his pocket..............

all the best

the geezer was so old fashioned and a gent  - can't get over it that he turned the money down - he thought it unethical and would reflect on him and the establishment he frequents

I know he gets free meals  - but - hey - you know!!!!

West Yorks councils are to spend 30 million- over 20k per head- on housing 1,250 refugees, there will still be people living on the streets in these towns, a disgrace.
