Solid performance from Hanks as always, but also the amateur actors playing the Somalia pirates were very good."I'm the Captain now !" Agree with one comment above it did drag on a bit near the end, that is the only negative comment maybe it was a touch too long. But great film and amazing it was based on a true story. My kids think all pirates are like Jack Sparrow !!

Paul Greengrass knows how to film tense action films. Bit too much of a advert for the supremacy of the American military but apart from that and being too long was a decent film.

It's 2hrs 14 minutes. Don't forget on tv there are ads every 15 minutes.
