Just blown my chair over on the patio, here in Solihull.

And scattering leaves everywhere.

Shouldn't joke about it as it's coming now!

a leaf just fell on my deck, and looks most unsightly, so I will have to get Les to sweep it up!

Unless your journey is necessary please stay indoors is the usual mantra in this severe weather.

It's now getting dark over here in Solihull.

Rain is streaming down the windows and actually dripping on to the patio as I type this.

Police been round with loudspeaker saying Waitrose and Ocado home deliveries might be delayed.

We've been advised to stock up with Perrier water and to keep our drives clear of debris so that our domestic staff can get in tomorrow - otherwise our kitchens may get a little dusty.

Not looking good at all!!

Will keep you posted

Update ...

Fook 'em all, I'm off out on an unnecessary journey.

Don't wait up, I might be gone some time.
