the lunatic which his donald trump

how many more than 7 k do you think any country needs ?

more arms deals, hopefully we dont use em, they get decommissioned
in some deal

then we can build some more in another 30 years or so

1.01 he nukes north korea

He's an absolute nut job and it was a very sad day for the planet when he won the election ( though he had over a million less votes than Clinton)

Fooking tragic

Must be a good chance that he's assassinated?

nearly 3 million crags , not that it matters

i doubt she would have been any better

Trump ****ing scares me, OK I'll half defend him as the people who strongest oppose him are mostly total tw*ts as well and they got on my t*ts but wtf?

America doesn't need to spend a pile more money on nukes, it already has plenty, once you have loads you don't need more at vast expense.

What a b3llend. I thought he'd passed sanity tests, is he actually as mad as he appears to be?

Although having said that, Russia (and the BBC of course didn't give this much coverage) have apparently developed some super new nuke that can't be intercepted so they are certainly spending loads on a quiet arms race as well.

What a world!

Had no idea it was nearly 3 million ffs.

Clinton would surely have been better in the interests of world peace?

Her cards are of at best average quality.

You can't help but like the man! i wonder if his little hands have had a
practice feel of the buttons yet

Yes you are quite right - and he had the temerity to talk on the phone to the taiwanese!!!! how dare he

How did obama do that 1.5 billion arms deal with them by the way.

HE wouldn't have phoned them I am sure - I wonder what the chinese thought about that

strange we don't hear any noise about it but trumpton farts and we all know about it.

Here's to world peace and no arms sales eh?

I must apologise I was wrong

It was 1.83 billion

was obama threatening world peace on the phone too!!!  ho ho

The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by
almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%),

cnn

Couldn't they have changed the way the winner was decided... even it it was after the event

Once he nukes a few democrat areas, he'll romp home next time

i think not crags

hopefully some of his own party can control him

but didnt they say that about some bloke in germany in the 30s ?

I don't think trump is a nazi but I do wonder if he's the full shilling. Or quarter or whatever they use over their with their backwards worthless currency

but he has been blamed for stirring it by talking to the taiwanese

TALKING

but what did obomber contribute to world peace

a 1.83 billion arms deal with taiwan!!!

What's wrong with that? Taiwan has a right to defend itself.

THrowing buckets of money at nukes when they've already enough to destroy the world a few times over makes no sense.

exactly  but they made a huge fuss about trump's phone call - almost as if he was going to attack china

so what did obomber's action mean then?  1.83 billion of them!!

All extra votes were in the state of California only. Thats why they have the Electoral vote system so that one densely populated area cannot swing the vote of the whole country. eg new york or california.

'Of the nearly 700 counties that twice sent Obama to the White House, a stunning one-third flipped to support Trump.
Trump also won 194 of the 207 counties that voted for Obama either in 2008 or 2012.
By contrast, of those 2,200 counties that never supported Obama, Clinton was only able to win six. That’s just 0.3 percent crossover to the Democratic side. Historically, Democrats rely on few (but very populous) counties to chart a path to victory. Republicans, by contrast, draw support from a wide swath of many more rural and suburban counties.'

Also saw this week that they want a Calexit vote in California, USA in 2018 and have opened an embassy already in Moscow for the Independent Republic of California. lol

Well there is that old stat that if california was independent then it would be one of the worls major economies.

I was looking at tax paid by US states the other day and it's a HUGE proportion.

You could say the same about London and how the brexit result went.

California elected Arnie as Mayor, perhaps London should elect Daniel Craig? .. Or Danny Dyer

(Governor!)

An excerpt from a recent e-mail from a Texan friend, explaining the reason for the Electoral College;

To change gears, the Electoral College was established in 1787 and has been an excellent example of how clever our English and German forebears were.  Even then, there was clustering of dangerous elements in the large coastal cities. Let me make this clear because the Revolutionary War is not taught correctly in the UK.

The works of H.P. Lovecraft serve as clear documentation of leftist Democrats in colonial times.  Several stories are centered at Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts and hint at the library's ancient copy of the dreaded Necronomicon of the Mad Arab Abdul al-Hazred.  Think of "The Dark Brotherhood" and "At the Mountains of Madness," etc.  This invasion of body snatchers goes back a long way...

The idea in 1787 was that all the decent god-fearing folk lived in the thinly populated states of the frontier such as Pennsylvania and Ohio.  They needed protection from the gathering pagan evil on the East Coast where witches were discovered and burned at the stake regularly.

Therefore, the Electoral College remains viable and indeed totally necessary today.  I do not want a transvestite Mexican wrestler with Aztec tattoos suddenly elected Emperor of America by faithless Electors because too many criminal aliens voted unwisely in ****g California.  Think it out, Watson.

As you can see, a man after my own heart.

He's an absolute nut job and it was a very sad day for the planet when he won the election

Not for all of us Crags, it was a very happy day for me

Amazing how America defends its Democracy for getting on for 250 years, telling us how wonderful it is

Immediately Trump is elected, it no longer democracy

They elect people by state and constituency votes, as is normal in a Democracy.

Fooking tragic

Of all the votes cast in the general election to just 2 parties(5.3m) the SNP and UKIP, the former got just 28% of them, but 56 MPs, while the latter got 72% and no MPs.

And you think the US system is wrong?

I agree BB

Hey Burton I thought you were in Feckin Vermont

to be fair snp won 50%  of vote in seats it contested whereas ukip polled
around 13% in seats it contested

this sysrem has similar origins to those espoused by bodils mate

the american vote would have been different had it been a straight race
and not a state by state race weighted to population......millions dont turn
out to waste a vote in known losing seats....

ukip vote would be different if people thought they could win the seat

next election is going to be great, i hope
