While the sentiment is one Id agree with I have my reservations about the realities.
That food bank initiative at a supermarket near where I live is a case in point. The trollies to donate food etc are after the tills, meaning by the time youve gon in for whatever you went in for and paid for it you wouldnt then give it the trolley to then have to go around again. Its a ham fisted idea, perhaps the shareholders of the shop might be asked to give a little more rather than the customers who get fleeced continually anyway to pay the shareholders perhaps? Its like the plastic bag tax....that taxes like a tax but relies on the shops to act out the levy. Like the customers invented plastic bags and its their fault the environment is phooked and not those stacking high and encouraging larger sales for bumper profits. Also Ive noticed charity collections have started to gather at the bottom of the escalator for trollies which isnt bad in itself, but when they stand either side of it and make you walk between them its a bit phookin much.....why not install a phucking gate and be done? Like its my fault opportunism has stolen all the money from the cupboard and let millions starve? |
