I see a documentary from S.Africa where a couple adopted one, everything went fine until it tried to get on the sofa

and the bedShocked,not much left of either.

Hippos are also very aggressive towards humans, whom they sometimes attack whether in boats or on land, commonly with no apparent provocation, and are widely considered to be one of the most dangerous large animals in Africa. Hippos mark their territory by defecation.

I never knew Hippos could attack in boats. Always presumed they'd sink and that they'be useless with oars?
