The prison system needs to be reformed. For far too long we've been treating inmates like criminals.

This is what you can expect, when lack of funding,creates a prison system run by ' outsourced' companies. Dumbed down from the rigorous training that once created professional prison staff. Government want to go down the privatisation route, same as the NHS. It doesn't work and the sooner it's realised and action taken to properly resource these institutions the better.

Christmas TV has been very poor over recent years imo.
I've only had a quick look at this year's schedules and 'Jonathan Creek' is the only thing I've spotted that I particularly want to watch (and that's not on until the 28th). |

Last time I saw Eastenders was only by accident a few Xmas's ago, someone had stolen someone's baby and there was inevitably a lot of screaming, the scriptwriters of that show must be really miserable.

I hate eastenders but I know a hard as nails ex soldier who watches every episode, I don't get that

Another prison takeover just started tonight, this time in Kent.
The "differently innocent" are up in arms about something. These "persons with conviction" just need a good hug. Or some legal highs delivered via a drone. |
