The last union I can remember where members could not leave was the USSR. They were seen by us as captives, the EU seems little different.

of course it will cost to leave, we have loads of projects we are still tied to

but it will still cost us if we stay, and more for more bailouts etc

its like leaving home, but its possible, and not an argument to stay

I withdrew from the 'Max Moseley Weekend Water Sports Society' last year over certain matters - despite being told I would have to pay the remainder of my Subs for the year , I simply cancelled the Standing Order and told them they could whistle for it.

What's the problem?

if you were part of the max mosely water sports society and received a small cut of the fees
but had mortgaged your house to fund its formation, you may find a cancelation of your direct
debit and ignoring the consequences  was a bad idea !

And who subs NATO? Trump is suggesting the USA subs it too much nd other members should pay their own way.
EU leaders are using Trump's angle to promote a European army.

EU members are not subbing NATO enough, yet you believe NATO will sub a European army.

Are you sure?
