Turned the sound down when that army magician came on. I used to love this show as a kid (in the '60's), but a lot of it now is so cringy, none more so than that unfunny presenter. Something not quite right with Walliams. Can't put my finger on it exactly, but he's always bringing his bisexuality to the fore and shows off about it, whereas I'm sure the majority of the audience wish that he would keep it to himself and talk about other things. That's my view anyway.

Also, I'm sure that the organisers had some difficulty in finding comedians who could perform a clean routine. Very few and far between I reckon!

the bit where they gave a mention to the people who have died this year, and some of the audience were cheering and applauding more loudly when photos / film of the more 'famous' ones were shown Crazy

GEORGE.B - Yes, I was thinking that it would have been better if they let the tribute roll to the end WITHOUT the audience clapping in between and just save any polite applause until the end. If I was presenting it, I would have politely asked the audience at the beginning of the tribute not to applause until the tribute had finished.

Perhaps they ought to think about doing that next year!
