A couple of days ago i was meeting the mrs in a coffee shop in town which happens
to be situated opposite a gaming arcade, 'Cashino' to be precise . Sitting by the window
observing the tracksuit types coming and going into the arcade i noticed a dwarf entering there .
After a while he left looking 'red faced' . Now they have a poster in the window for sunbed
hire so i guess he could have used those, or a loss on the fobt, even a win could have left him looking 'flushed'.
Had me thinking that in all my years  horseracing i could not remember seeing a dwarf on course. Could there be a gene linked to dwarfism that negates the urge to gamble?
I pondered either mailing the British Medical Association or putting on chitchat for the answer .

David Brent has some strong views on the subject. Do Elves play the lottery? We'll never know. Unless you sell lottery tickets.

I knew one who backed just 5F races.

He lost a fortune.

He always backed short runners

The only time I ever bet with one was an ill advised round wager down the pub.

Thankfully it was only small beer.
