Clutching at straws here, but I have a Panasonic TX-24C300B on my desk, and have just bought a pair of auxiliary speakers.

The speakers are USB powered and that is installed and ok.

The problem I have is that there is no obvious place for the single small jack plug!

There are two white, and one red sockets, and the plug is seriously tight to get in and out, but none of them work for my speakers!

I've done the usual internet search but nothing constructive on there!

Any words of wisdom please (not including the words of the prophets)?

I am sure we are all offended that you consider consulting the Chit Chat intelligentia to be 'clutching at straws'

No idea, by the way.

Without spending any more cash your only option is to plug them into the headphone socket.

If you are prepared to splash the cash then you could source a cable from the likes of Maplin that would use the PC/YPbPr
Audio connction.

Hope that helps Happy

Jack.....fek me! I have no social graces, having been here, in solitary, since November 2009!

Petraco....good advice, I think, as I tried that, but all that happened was I got this weird "buzzing" feeling all over!

I'm actually going into meltdown here as there is no socket marked as "Headphones"!!!

The flimsy manual says of such a socket, and where it is, and shows it as a graphic of a full size plug, but no such thing for me!

I guess I must go the "Maplins" route, but it's all bloody frustrating, as I would have thought that a head phone connection would be pretty standard!

Is it something stupid like you have to enable headphones in the menus?

Check the back panel of your TV against the third image in this link.

If your headphone jack socket isn't below the Yellow / Red / White phono sockets then you're up a creek without a paddle...

Well no as you could get a phono to headphone adaptor. Or an optical (if it has that) to headphone adaptor, just over a tenner.

Aunty is there not also a black socket? That's where my sound bar plugs into.

Petraco.....unbelievable!!!!
There is indeed a socket but as you can see in the well lit photo it's barely visible and even with a magnifying glass.

It isn't labeled and if anything looks just like a screw!

Knight Commander....thanks to you too as I guess that's exactly what you meant too....

Jack,....how right you are....Blush
