Celtic supporter arrested for throwing burger at police horse

A Celtic fan was arrested for throwing a hamburger at a police horse before the Scottish club's Champions League fixture at Manchester City on Tuesday.

Greater Manchester Police said the incident was one of 14 arrests made in connection with the game.

There were also reports of fans setting off fireworks on Greater Manchester's tram network.

About 30 people were ejected from the stadium - mostly away supporters for sitting in the home end.

Was the police horse not hungry

I am very offensive on behalf of the horsey - horseys are vegetables - they eat grass etc  - how very dare they!!!! You would have thought vogons and vegetables would be up in arms over this and starting a partition.  This sort of thing creates a nasty ambulance in the area.
Expect a BACKLASH(current popular trending word) from vegetable organisations.

That burger may well have contained a relative of the police horse. How would you like it if somebody threw a half-cooked part of your Uncle Dobbin at you, eh?

And some forumites liked that word and commented that they had not heard it in a long time.

You need to spread the word.

I did think about the relative part of it but came to the conclusion the horse would not have the brain capability to understand workings of the food process.

I'm just shocked at a Celtic fan that could afford to waste such a burger !

Missed the game and got a night in the cells and no doubt starving.

I wonder how many times over the next few weeks he's going to be asked if he fancies a Big Mac.

Btw another celtic fan arrested for fighting with a Christmas tree in a pub after being refused a drink because he was too drunk.
