got a fire stick and a friend of the mrs took it to her home to set it up how do i set it to my wifi she must have set it up for hers ?

Just go into the menus and set it up there? Select the router, enter the router password.
Word of warning: I think it comes pre-registered for the amazon account that bought it, unless maybe you tell it another account when you buy it.
So watch what account it is attached to if you want friends account to be the amazon account, this is a different setting to the wifi setting.
Second word of warning, if the TV USB doesn't have enough juice you may have to use the mains adaptor, which isn't highlighted in the commercials.
