How could it be worse.?

The NHS would be worse ?
There would be more homeless people ?
There would be more children living in poverty ?
More disabled people left destitute ?
Less council houses being built ?
A larger gap between rich and poor.?
More of a divisive society ?

They've done what they always do.
But as long as their supporters maintain this ridiculous feeling of superiority it'll continue.

What you'll never get is the twunts on here admitting the Tories can ever be in any way wrong about anything.
The nearest will be "Labour, Corbyn, Lefties, Milliband, etc etc would have been worse!"

In other words starting this thread at the home of the Betfair blackshirts society will never garner a fair response.

The NHS would be worse ?
There would be more homeless people ?

Report STUDYFORM December 2, 2016 8:20 PM GMT
Didn't loads of people on here espouse the virtue of a conservative government which would stop "Labour's" stream of immigration, both last year and 6 years ago?

How you can accuse someone of ruining the country who has had nothing to do with any part of running it in any way whatsoever is also a bit of a mystery. You can suggest they might, or predict them to do so, but cannot KNOW it.

However we do KNOW that the present incumbents are not helping and they are and have been useless.

HTH

All of these apply (plus many more) from the last 6 years....

"Concerns about immigration"? Where does that come from?

The media keep saying:

"People are expressing concerns about immigration
People are expressing concerns about immigration
People are expressing concerns about immigration"

If you are registered as non-dom you can run a business
in the UK but pay no tax. This costs us billions.

"People are expressing concerns about immigration."

If the government cuts public services, they increase
pressure on public services.

"People are expressing concerns about immigration."

Since 1980, wealth has shifted from labour to capital.
In other words those that 'have', have more; those that
have the least, have less. Those that have the least
have given wealth to those that have more.

"People are expressing concerns about immigration"

The government regularly announces that it freezes
the wages of public service workers. This means that
people can afford less. Their living standards decline.

"People are expressing concerns about immigration"

The government has repeatedly brought in policies
which have helped to increase the price of houses.
The proportion of people's income required to rent or buy
has steadily risen. Flats and houses cost more to live in.
There is less space per pound of people's income.

"People are expressing concerns about immigration"

Some people do not know that the main reasons for their
standard of living to go down are nothing to do with immigration.
Instead, they keep hearing:

"People are expressing concerns about immigration."

You know what happens next?

some people express some concern about immigration.
After all, people can only think what they think
based on available information.
The media supply the available information.
They keep saying:

'People are expressing concerns about immigration."

The government laughs quietly to itself:
"People do not blame us for their living standards going down,
they blame immigration."

Whoever is in power it's us who run the country not politicians.

Thankfully, we the public are a handy bunch and get on with it.

Haven't voted Tory or Labour for years. These centre left (yuk) parties have lost all identity. Headless chickens. Corbyn is not the answer as he's not so much old labour as communist labour.

We've said it time and time again, but if ever there was a time for a strong labour party that time is now. The desertion of labour voters from Corbyn on June 23rd was incredible.

It's a right old mess. National debt has doubled, we're borrowing £7bn+ a month to keep this ship afloat. Austerity or balancing the books which is a better phrase hasn't happened.

The only people who could think that piece of sh&t quoted above was great are people too dense to understand the very simple concept of "supply and demand".

How, after all these years, people don't understand how a glut of low paid workers depress the wages of the low paid, and how massively increasing the population density of areas without enough accomodation increases rents and house prices is beyond me. It's not rocket science. The less educated working classes certainly can understand it which is why they are deserting Labour as labour are still repeating horse sh1t like I'm reading above.

If you are so blinded by a hatred of the tories you can't see the glaringly obvious staring you in the face, it's your problem, but surely somewhere in your head there is a little voice saying "oi, stop being so dim"?

I acknowledge that the Labour Leadership farce, and the equal farcical ' coup ' by the PLP traitors to Socialism, and the lies put out by Murdoch, BBC and mass media  controlled by capitalists , have caused significant damage to  non  Labour voters perception  of the Party.
Corbyn, is a good, genuine and honest politician. He is a true Socialist and he genuinely wants a fairer society. Because I defy anyone to sY it's fair at the moment.
The Tories have created such divisiveness  it's frightening as well as disgusting.
The Tories implemented Austerity, which wasn't necessary
Poor people got poorer. Rich people got wealthier. Tax avoidance  for the elite became a  virus.
.The financial cuts imposed on all the Councils  and the subsequent cessation of vital services to the less fortunate in our society have broke the
hearts of millions in this country.
No homes to live in,. Living below the poverty line . Children starving.
The obscene growth in the need of food banks to keep people alive.
Add to this the deliberate running down of the NHS, in a cynical destructive way in readiness for selling it off to private companies.

Keep reminding yourself - we are the 5th richest country in the world.

The Tories couldn't give a flying fck about the working class..

Do you honestly think that the Labour Party think like this.
Do you honestly think they couldn't create a better society than the one we have now ?

So great a piece, yet written about the media (if you bother to read it) and nothing to do with a blind hatred of the Tories.

Anyone with a brain can see it is a great piece.

Unlike the blind devotion of one (or two?) who decry it as horsesh1t, to a government who cares nothing for its people.

"The motivation for many who voted Leave will be very different from the motivation of those on the Tory right. And make no mistake what is unfolding before us now is a Tory Brexit.

“The motivation of the Tories in charge of this process is clear. It was the former Conservative Chancellor Lord Lawson who gave the game away when he said: “Brexit gives us the opportunity...to finish the job that Margaret Thatcher started.”

“For the right-wing of the Tory party this is the opportunity they’ve been waiting for. To do away with hard-won workers’ rights. To embark on a race to the bottom in employment protection. So to those who voted Leave – I understand your desire for change. But there is a better way.”
