Report form the BBC, highlights include:

Net migration has stayed near record levels, standing at 335,000 in the year to June, the Office for National Statistics has said.

For the first time, Romania tops the list for the country with the most number of migrants to the UK in 2015 - with 54,000 people coming to live in Britain.
China was in second place with 44,000 followed by Poland at 38,000 and India with 36,000.

But the ONS said there was a "statistically significant" rise in the number of people who were "looking for work", 130,000, compared to 107,000 last year, as opposed to those who had a definite job to go to.

Three questions

Why are we letting in people who have no jobs to go to?  (These figure are for migrants not refugees)

Why are we letting in people when we have a housing shortage?

Has Poland got any people left in it?

Please close the door.......Sad

Britain is surely the most insane country (after Germany) in Western Europe to allow this wholly unnecessary invasion.

We don't have a labour shortage problem (thousands of British-born people supposedly 'looking for work'), but we DO have a major problem with overstretched public services. What on earth are we doing piling massive pressure on them with these additional users?

The next time you hear some cretin blaming "the savage Tory cuts" on public services like the NHS, remind them of the insane levels of waifs and strays from around the world that the INTERNational Health Service (and other public services) increasingly deal with.

Little wonder why this country voted for Brexit, to try and reclaim our borders.

Eight handed custodial sentences for violence in Clasketgate, Lincoln

Eight men appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday 28 November for their roles in a fight earlier this year.

At 10pm on 15 May 2016, two groups of men from East Timor were fighting in Lincoln's town centre.  Twenty were involved in the fight which was of a particularly violent nature with weapons involved including a pestle, iron bar and chain and mortar.

Five men pleaded guilty to affray and were sentenced as follows:

Guterres Isaias DA COSTA - 12 months imprisonment

Alvaro DA COSTA - 18 months imprisonment

Efendio Marcal XIMENES - 18 months

Alfredo PINTO - 9 months imprisonment

Antonio CARDOSO - 6 months imprisonment (also another 3 months for GBH)

Three men pleaded guilty to GBH and were sentenced as follows:

Gil Ornai DA SILVA S18 4 years imprisonment

Arlindo Freitas SARMENTO 4 years imprisonment

Adelio Freitas MARQUES 4 years imprisonment

Those sentenced for GBH were involved in a man being punched and kicked to the ground until he laid unconscious.  They then jumped on his head causing a broken neck and a bleed on the brain which left him in a life-threatening condition. Thankfully the victim has recovered but still suffers ongoing neck pain.  He was not charged with any offences.

Detective Sergeant Adam Petty said:

"Fights of this nature are not common in our town centre and the barbaric actions of those involved could have quite easily resulted in the death of a man.  Luckily for the victim, staff at Hucklerry's responded to administer first aid before paramedics arrived and placed him on a spinal board.

"These sentences should act as a serious deterrent to anyone wishing to resort to violence.  If you are out in the town centre at night and witness an altercation of any kind, it is important you report it to us straight away as it might just save someone's life."
Report Injera December 2, 2016 3:22 PM GMT
